Puzzler 2015 13-Mile Course
If the 50-mile version of the Puzzler is the toughest race in Texas, this is probably the toughest beginner race in Texas! With almost 1200 feet of climb, mostly in the first few miles of sweet, skinny singletrack, completing this course if something for a new racer or someone returning to the sport to be proud of!
Here's the course: From the roundhouse, ride the pipeline road north .8 miles, turn left on dirt road, go .9 miles, then right on Newman Trail, go 2.2 miles and take a sharp right onto the single track, go .6 miles and turn right on the dirt road, go 1.1 miles and turn right on the single track, in .2 miles you pass a road and an outhouse - go straight, go 2.5 miles on Down Under, turn left on the pipeline road, at the roundhouse you go straight on Lazy Cow, go about 2 miles on Lazy Cow - .2 miles after crossing Trenchtown Road you turn right on the unmarked trail and go .2 miles to Trenchtown Road, turn up Trenchtown Road, go .6 miles and bear right on Rock Shock Trail, go .2 miles and turn right on Mad Cow Trail, ride 1.5 miles to the Roundhouse, let out a whoop and grab a beer - you earned it!

How to get there:
The race starts at the Bowen Ranch Roundhouse. You can only drive to this point on race days. Otherwise you'll need to start 3 miles south at Chuck Heinrich Park and ride up to the roundhouse.
