This is a great way to put the northeast El Paso trails together for a great work out. You'll get to see some of the best scenery in the Franklins. Here are the trails you'll take: Ride up onto the earthen dam and go thru the gates, go back right and then up Tin Mine Road, right on Scenic Road, left on Sotol Forest, right on Coyote Ugly, right on Mad Cow, right on Trenchtown Road, left on Tin Mine and downhill back to the trailhead.
- 14.40 miles of Singletrack
- 1540 feet
How to get there:
To get to Heinrich Park from downtown El Paso, take I-10 east to US 54 and go north to the Martin Luther King exit. Go left (north) .5 mile and then left on Jon Cunningham. Cunningham ends at the park in .5 mile. Access the trail just left of the cement dam.
